Ottawa County Warrant Records Ottawa County Warrant Records

This page covers two things: what this site can help with, and which Ottawa County office answers an official question. Almost every request belongs with a court or the Sheriff's records desk rather than with us, and the routing below names the counter, address, phone number, and posted hours for each one so a call lands in the right place the first time.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. Each of those needs the issuing court or the Sheriff's records staff directly.

Need Official Warrant Information?

In Ottawa County, the question decides the office. Start with the court named on your notice or ticket, because the court that issued the case is the only office that can confirm or recall a warrant.

  • Whether a warrant exists: the clerk at the 58th District Court counter printed on your notice or ticket, who can read the case status by case or ticket number
  • A bench warrant for a missed date: the same issuing court, since the judge who set the case controls the recall
  • A felony file: the 20th Circuit Court records office at 414 Washington Ave, Room 320, Grand Haven, (616) 846-8315, circuitcourtrecords@miottawa.org
  • Unpaid child support: the Friend of the Court, with its 24-hour case line at (877) 543-2660
  • A police report or county record: the Sheriff's Records Management office at (616) 738-4025 or (616) 738-4094

The 58th District Court keeps three counters. Grand Haven: 414 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417, (616) 846-8280. Holland: 85 West 8th St, Holland, MI 49423, (616) 392-6991. Hudsonville: 3100 Port Sheldon Rd, Hudsonville, MI 49426, (616) 662-3100. Each counter posts Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Criminal questions use the ghcrim, holcrim, or hudcrim email address for that location, and traffic questions use the matching traffic address.

The Ottawa County Sheriff's administration office is at 12220 Fillmore St, West Olive, MI 49460, reached at (616) 738-4000 or, from inside the county, (888) 731-1001. The Sheriff publishes no public warrant roster and no warrant phone line, so the records staff handle reports and document requests while the courts answer status questions.

Call ahead before visiting any counter. Court and county offices keep weekday hours, notices about building access change, and a phone call confirms the hours and the documents to bring.

Nothing on this site is legal advice. For advice about an open warrant, a surrender, or bond, speak with a licensed Michigan attorney.
